He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Herron and Edna Herron; and his siblings, Malcolm, Doug Herron, Myrna McIntyre, Kay DeWitt and Gail Caldwell.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Scott); his son Scott (Rebecca Cook) of Oromocto, N. B.; his grandsons, Dawson, Alexander and Calvin; and his siblings-in-law, Harold McIntyre, Brian Barnes, Robert Scott (Sue), Berkeley Scott (Sharon) and Priscilla Scott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
