She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" McDowell; her parents, Hazen Borthwick and Daisy Borthwick (Cooke); her sons, Rodney and Walter; and her siblings, Keith, Carol and Glen.
She is survived by: her children, Barry McDowell of Pennfield, Patricia Kimball of Pennfield and Jacqueline Pendleton (Laurie) of Lord's Cove; her grandchildren, Erin, Scott, Ivan, Rainee (Ronnie), Olivia, Josh, Nathan and Zackary; her great grandchildren, Spencer, Darcy, Wren, Ransom and Iver; her sisters-in-law, Marion and Orla; and her close friend Blair Titus. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In her memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
