She was predeceased by: her sisters, Elinor "Joan" Lee and Eunice Matthews; and her daughter-in-law Shelley Dougherty. She is survived by: her parents, Russell Matthews and Lillias Matthews; her children, Jennifer Barker (Mark) of Bethel, Stephen Taylor (Kathy) of Bonny River and Jeffrey Taylor (Bonnie) of Bonny River; her grandchildren, Abigail Barker of Bethel, Ashton Taylor of Bonny River and Jill Taylor of Halifax, NS; and her sister Patricia Matthews of St. George, NB. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. George Funeral Home (26 Portage St, Saint George, NB E5C 3L6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. George Funeral Home Chapel, St. George (26 Portage St, Saint George, NB E5C3L6). A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at the St. George Rural Cemetery.
