She was predeceased by: her parents, George Laurence and Helen Ernestine Wooding (Scales); her husbands, Lawrence and Allan Betts; and her sister Margaret.

She is survived by: her children, Brian of Ottawa, ON and Lynn (Glen Mitchell) of Halifax, NS. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bea's memory to a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
