She was predeceased by: her husband Peter J. Stewart; and her parents, C. Watson Groom and Bernice Groom. She is survived by: her children, Craig Stewart (Jada) and Kerri Moore (Mike); her grandchildren, Jude, Kieren and Rosalyn; and her cousin Gary Groom.
In Bernette's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Passamaquoddy Lodge Foundation, Christ Church (Anglican) or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
