He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell M. J. Thorne and Phyllis Thorne (Carr); his brother Maurice Thorne; his brother-in-law Sam Voutt; and the mother of his children Barb "Barbie" Leblanc.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lynn Thorne of Nanaimo, BC and Tim Leblanc of Nanaimo, BC.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. George Rural Cemetery.
