She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Simpson and Grace Simpson; her daughter Jacalyn Hulsman (Jackie); her sister Doris; her brother-in-law Maurice Melnyk; her brother Dan; her sister-in-law Valores Simpson; and her siblings' children, Gerry Melnyk and Kelly Cooke (Simpson).
She is survived by: her husband Stuart Henry; her children, Chris Hatt (Gail), Stephen Hatt (Brenda), Mikki Hatt (Judy) and Anne Small (Andy); her grandchildren, Brad Hulsman, Jesse Hulsman (Kristy), Nick Hatt, Josh Hatt (Sherri), Stacey Desrosiers (Jason), Troy Hatt (Darbi), Andrew Reid (Natasha), Dan Reid (Nicole), Alex Reid (Amy), Mitchell Small (Kaitlin) and Carter Small (Sara); and her friend Betty Moulton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Street Atlantic Baptist Church (47 Union, St Stephen, NB E3L1T7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory can be made to The Charlotte County Hospital Foundation Inc. and/or a random act of kindness would be appreciated.
