She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Leavitt and Joan Leavitt (Stewart); her significant other Burton Cooke; her brother Corey Leavitt; and her nephews, Devin Leavitt and Jason Kernighan.
She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Kernighan (Brian Noddin) of Pennfield, NB and Kevin Leavitt (Laura) of Pennfield, NB; her nephew Derek Leavitt (Abby Lockhart) of St. George, NB; her niece Amanda Kernighan (Josh Pitre) of St. Stephen, NB; and her great-nephew Huxton. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In Kathy's memory, donations to the Charlotte County SPCA or to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
