She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Tucker and Lena Tucker (Leavitt) of L'Etete, NB.; her husband Roderick Kay (Pete) of Amherst, NS; her sister Phyllis Leavitt; and her brother-in-law Lloyd Leavitt.

She is survived by : her daughter Lynn Farmakoulas (John) of New River Beach, NB; her grandsons, Matthew Wadlin (Victor) of Cambridge and Travis Wadlin (Courteney) of Riverview, NB; and her nieces, Mabel Fraser of Toronto and Ruby Olson of L'Etete, NB..

For those who wish, remembrances in Marie's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or the Charlotte County SPCA.
