She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Maillet and Aurore Maillet (Landry); her son Marc; and her sisters, Carole and Claudine.
She is survived by: her husband Peter McAleenan of Bethel, NB; her children, Jason McAleenan (Kate Ross) of Calgary, AB and Shelley Bruce (Matt) of Stratford, PE; her grandchildren, Collin, Thomas, Ava and Madison; her siblings, France Maillet (Lianne), Thomas Maillet (Celine), Normand Maillet (Paulette), Yolande Robichaud (Clarence), Yvette Cormier (Louis), Paulette Gionet, Nicole Gionet and Joanne Caissie (Donald); and her siblings-in-law, Mike McAleenan (Loretta), Patty Maillet (Eddy) and David Richard. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. George's Catholic Church (62 Poor House Hill Rd #3K6, St. George, NB E5C2C7). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the St. George's Catholic Cemetery (62 Poor House Hill Rd #3K6, St. George, NB E5C2C7).
