He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Raymond Frye and Norah Gaddess Frye; his grandparents, Herbert and Daisy Frye; his siblings, George Frye, Raymond Frye, Mary Leslie and Judy Frye; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Stuart.
He is survived by: his children, Darcy Messinger (Brad) of San Marcos, TX and Michael Frye (Jodi) of Kerrville, TX; the mother of his children Kathleen Frye of Kyle, TX; his grandchildren, Madeleine Huggins, Luke Gunderson, Caitlin Campbell (Colin), Jamie Messinger and Max Messinger; his great grandchild Colter Campbell of San Antonio, TX; and his sisters, Daisy Barry (James) of St. George, NB and Noranne Stuart of Deer Island, NB. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Vietnam Veterans of America.
