She was predeceased by: her husband Jean-Claude Cormier; her parents, Paul Ruest and Marie-Louise Ruest (Desjardins); her children, Léon Michaud and Anne Michaud; her grandson Luc Pelletier; and her siblings, Archille, Aimé, Alyre Ruest, Simone Dastous, Denise Ruest, Jeannine Dubé, Robert and Catherine Ruest.

She is survived by: her children, Thérèse Michaud (Roger), Barbara Pelletier of Edmundston and Raymond Michaud (Cindy) of St-Jacques; and her grandchildren, Brianna, Dorothée, Jimmy and Emmanuël. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
