Words of sympathy

August 21, 2025

Dave Easby wrote a sympathy message

“I was fortunate to work with Tony when he was the Minister of Family and Community Services. He was a true gentleman who treated his staff with kindness and respect. The nature of my job meant that we spent a lot of time together and I considered him a friend as well as a boss. Unlike some of the other politicians I worked with, he would always choose to do what he believed to be right rather than what he knew to be popular. He was truly a man of honour. My condolences to his family.”
