He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoon and Dirkje; his former wife Sylvia; his son Peter; and his sister Hurbertina "Tinie".
He is survived by: his sister Wilhelmina; his daughters, Jane (Charles Johnson) and Tanya; his wife Madeleine; his stepchildren, Raphael, Sebastian-Christophe and Myra-Aume (Andy); his grandchildren, Derica Buchanan (Russell), Peter Langley, Elise, Doug and Lainey Buchanan; and his siblings, Willie (Bill Smith) and Jan (Angela). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kirk McColl United Church (70 King St, St Stephen, NB E3L2C3).
