He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Defazio and Anna Defazio (Shanks); his siblings, Kim Defazio, Patty Keenan and Nicky; his siblings-in-law, Stacey Defazio (Gullison) and Frank Henry; his mother-in-law Helena Wry; and his son-in-law Chris Hanley.
He is survived by: his wife Donita (Russell); his children, Chad of St. Stephen, NB, Katelynn of St. Stephen, NB, Bradlee (Makayla) of St. Stephen, NB and Kirsten (Daniel) of Shediac, NB.; his grandchildren, Jamison, Gunner, Sylus, Sirenna, Jaxton and Danni-Lynn; his pet Bruno; his brothers, David of St. Stephen, Paul (Heather) of Woodstock, NB and Royden (Bobby) of Nova Scotia; his brothers-in-law, Joe Keenan of St. Stephen, NB and Joe Henry of Upper Mills, NB.; and his father-in-law Don Russell of St. Stephen, NB. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donations in Dan’s memory, can be made to Dialysis Unit at Charlotte County Hospital.
