He was predeceased by: his parents, David Getchell and Patricia Getchell. He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Andrew), David (Alix) and DJ; his sister Brenda (Colin); his nephews, Bill (Amanda) and Adam; his great-nieces, Chloe and Mylah; his great-nephew Tristin; and his aunt Elaine Getchell. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
