He is survived by: his wife Carol; his brothers, Frank, Ralph and Neil (Carol); his children, Philip Alder, Richard Alder (Laurie), Scott Alder, Margaret Visser (Gerrit) and Russel Alder; and his grandchildren, Bruce Dunphy, Matthew Alder (Allisha), Brian Hamilton (Cheyanna), Karl Alder, Terri Hamilton and Sara Alder.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Union Street Atlantic Baptist Church (47 Union St, St Stephen, NB E3L1Z1).
