He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Cartwright and Ruth Cartwright; and his wife Juanita. He is survived by: his children, Rolana Johnson (Tim), Edward Jr. and Joseph (Frances); and his stepson Dale Kirke (Loretta). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home (23 Main St, St Stephen, NB E3L1Y9). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
