She is survived by: her friend Aeris Hachey; her parent Jennifer Hatt; her brother Jaxon Hatt of St. Stephen, NB; her grandparents, Priscilla, Danny Hatt of Mayfield, NB, Donnie, Debbie Matheson of Brockway, NB, Jamie and Holly Woodside of St. Stephen, NB; her aunt Krista Hanson (Troy) of Meddybemps, ME; her uncle Jason Hatt; her cousin Caleb Hatt of St. Stephen, NB; her uncles, Kyle Matheson (Amanda), Cody Matheson (Holly Ann), Keaton Matheson (Shyla) and Tarron Lister (Cass); and her godparents, Trisha Roy (Joey) and Jonny Gullison. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Willow Center, the Boys and Girls Club of Charlotte County or the St. Stephen Food Bank in Jaylan's memory.
