Joanne M. Sweeney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, Joanne M. Sweeney (St Stephen, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Clarke and Anita Clarke; and her sister Mary Chris. She is survived by: her sisters, Saundra Craigen and Jeanne Arbuckle; her husband Paul Sweeney; her children, Michael (Beth), Catherine (Gerry) and Donald (Christine); her grandchildren, Megan, Shawn, Mitchell, Brooke, Sarah, Jarrod and Tyler; and her great grandchildren, Emme, Ryder and Cali. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home (23 Main St, St Stephen, NB E3L1Y9). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church (407 Milltown Blvd, St Stephen, NB E3L1J5).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Woman's, League of the St. Stephen's Catholic Church would be appreciated in Joanne's memory.
