We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026, Madeline Julia Leavitt (St Stephen, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gayton and Lottie Gayton (Richard); and her brothers, Eddie and Jim Gayton (late Mary). She is survived by: her spouse Hazen Leavitt; her children, Marlene Duplessis (Frank), Brian Leavitt (Loretta), Wayne Leavitt (Ree), Dale Leavitt (Crystal) and Lisa McAllen (Randy); her grandchildren, Tammy (Kenny), Natasha (Andrew), Stephanie (Jeff), Jeremy (Shanon), Tiffanie (Chuck), Lauren, Jaime, Craig (Iesha), Alyssa (Jerad), Nathan (Kristen) and Hilary (Matt); and her sister-in-law Maureen Gayton (Kim Heustis). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
