She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazen Townes and Flora Townes; and her husband Charles L. McLaughlin. She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Brown (Perry) and Theresa Gorhos (Bill). She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home (23 Main St, St Stephen, NB E3L1Y9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
