He was predeceased by : his parents, Ivan Phillips and Joan Phillips; and his siblings, Joy and Alan. He is survived by : his wife Dawn (MacFarlane); his children, Carrie (Bill) and Dylan (Jess) of Fredericton, NB; his grandchildren, Dawsen, Braydee and Kacey; his sisters, Kathy Phillips Wright and Karen; and his close friends, Tim Roberts, Jamie and Danny Little. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
