He is survived by: his wife Karen Kernighan (Campbell); his daughters, Cara Hatt (Adam) and Debbie Walsh (Matthew); his grandchildren, Abby (Teagan), Gavin, Daniel and Amantha; his pet Tess; his brother Alvin Kernighan; his siblings-in-law, Arnold (Suzanne) and Susan (Ryan); and his nieces and nephews, Allene, Allison (Greg), Brad (Krista), Ben (Victoria), Michael (Kristy) and Matthew (Cora).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. George Baptist Church (25 Main St, St. George, NB E5C3H9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
