He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawrence and Mildred Lawrence (Kirkbride); his wife Nellie Katherine; his sons, Cecil James, Dwayne Allen and Brent Neil; and his son-in-law Glenn Stuckless.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan Stuckless; his granddaughters, Paige Stuckless and Taylor Stuckless; his daughter Valerie Zander; his granddaughter Bobbi Jo McBurney; his sister-in-law Rita Lawrence; and his great grandchildren, Easton and Maci Mcburney.
