The family announces the passing of Velma C. Tracey of Stickney, New Brunswick on September 12, 2026. Velma, born on July 29, 1946, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hovey and Evelyn Hovey (Gartley); her daughter Heather; her siblings, Wayne Hovey, Brian Hovey, Gerry Hovey and Lorraine LePage; and her parents-in-law, Edward and Isabelle Tracey (Knowelton).
She is survived by: her husband Doug; her children, Mark Tracey (Beth Ellis) and Natalie Sullivan (Anthony); her grandchildren, Craig Watters (Emily), Alyson Watters (Alex), Andrea Sullivan (Cody), Megan Sullivan, Katilyn Sullivan (John) and Tyler Sullivan; and her great grandchildren, Asher, Aria and Evelyn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1).
