It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel Jean (Devinney) Jones in Stoney Creek, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Devinney and Emma Devinney; her sister Beth MacBeath; her husband John Taylor Jones; her son Daniel John Fredrick Jones; and her daughter-in-law Edie.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy McCarthy (Randy) and David Jones (Krista Stott-Jones); her grandchildren, Dustin McCarthy (Allison), Tara McCarthy (James Tremere), Madalin Jones (Tyler Parkman) and Mathias Jones; her great grandchildren, Brielle, Taiten, Stella and Maverick; and her sister Margaret Steel.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mattatall - Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Albert County Museum or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
