It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil Alward of Sussex Corner, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Basil Alward to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his mother Laura Alward; and his former life partner Beth Fawcett. He is survived by : his wife Freda (Steeves); his children, Derrick (Susan), Denise Jones (Steven) and Gwen Dowling (John); his stepson Barry Atkinson (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amanda, Laura, Raymond, Joshua, Ashley and Jasmine; his siblings, Billy Cusack (Wendy), Betty McKnight (Allan) and Geraldine Cusack; and his siblings-in-law, Whitfield Steeves (Elva), Lester Steeves (Patricia), Roberta Steeves (late Reilly) and Elsie Gregg (Gordon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
