With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jill Bennington of Tobique First Nation, New Brunswick, born in Limestone, Maine, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carroll "Carl" Shumate and Marlene Shumate (Deveau); and her sister Debbie Korman. She is survived by : her children, Brittney King (Russell), Lydia Allen, Torrance McIvor Jr. "T. J." (Kelsey Manning) and Wyatt Allen; her grandchildren, Adelynn McIvor, Shumate King, Gatlyn King and Torrance McIvor III; and her siblings, Susan Shumate, Ronnie Shumate and Randy Shumate (Theresa).
