He was predeceased by: his parents, John Weir and Hattie Weir (Smith); and his siblings, Clarence, Ray, Guy, Howard, Eric, Benny, Eleanor, Charlotte, Audrey, Eva and Hilda.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Heather (Kevin), Victor (Maria) and Philip (Sue); his brother-in-law Charles Wilson; his grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Paul, Vicky, Olivia, William and Cody; his great grandchildren, Jimmy, Miranda, Audrina, Jaden and Chloe; his grandson Jack; and his niece Faye Henry (Terry).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salisbury Funeral Home (3350 NB-106, Salisbury, NB E4J3H3). A burial was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery.
