She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Broad and Lena Broad (Wortman); her husbands, Lewis Patterson and John Edwin Bloodsworth; her children, Sharon Hawthorne and Alard Patterson; her siblings, Vera Vautour, Beulah Derrah, Graydon Broad and George Broad; and her grandchildren, Wesley Patterson, Corey Patterson and Jennifer Munn.
She is survived by: her children, Opal Nixon (George) of Tracyville, NB, Rowena Butterfield of Beechwood, NB, Orpha Sutherland (Larry) of Perth-Andover, NB, Marilyn Sutherland (Dave) of Upper Kent, NB, Kathy Munn (Myles) of Fredericton, NB, Heather Hayden of Bristol, NB, Ervin Patterson (Marilyn) of Bristol, NB, Kempton Patterson of Bath, NB, Arnold Patterson (Pat) of Holmesville, NB and Eugene Patterson (Rolanda) of Upper Kent, NB. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
Because of the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 virus, a celebration of Josephine's life will be held at a later date.
