He was predeceased by: his parents, Nobel Gourlay and Winnifred Gourlay (Shand); and his sister-in-law Janice Harrington. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Gourlay of Fredericton, NB and Jason Gourlay of Toronto, ON; his grandson Nicholas Gourlay (Becky) of Fredericton, NB; his great grandchild Alex; his stepsons, Bruce Newman of Upper Kingsclear, NB and Larry Newman (Gayle) of Huntsville, ON; his stepgrandchildren, Michiah Newman of Saint John, NB, Justin Newman (Kerstin) of London, ON and Lindsay Presley (Steve) of Huntsville, ON; and his half-brother Evan Harrington of Hartland, NB. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
