He is survived by: his wife Carol (Harper); his children, Dianne, Karen Northrup (Mark) of St Andrews, NB and Doug (Bev Delong) of Upper Mills, NB; his grandchildren, Everest McCray of Woodstock, NB, Stephen Northrup of Saint John, NB, Vikki Northrup (Eric Arsenault) of Saint John, NB and Sarah Grenier (Allan) of Salt Springs, NB.; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Owen Grenier; his siblings, Earl (Kay), Emmett (Marsha), Nora McLean (John), Barb McLean and Susan Davidson; his sisters-in-law, Janet Harper and Mary Pulk; and his close friend Helen Torrance. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
