He was predeceased by: his parent Susan Sambles; his parent-in-law William Sambles; his son William Clifford Parker; his siblings, Billie Parker and Connie Gaudet; his siblings-in-law, Ralph Lyon, Edward Thorne, Donald Sambles, William Sambles, Carl Scullion, Gertrude Scullion, Lena Sambles, Norma Sambles and Muriel Sambles; and his nephew Kevin Thorne.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Parker (Sambles); his daughter Jill Carson (Paul); his grandchildren, Justin Parker, Kara Carson, Sara Richards (Rob) and Julie Parker (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Olivia and Avery Richards; his siblings, Joan Lyon, Madelyn Thorne and Donald Parker (Cathy); and his sons, Vallis and Powell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
