She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardie Parker and Jessie Parker (McCracken); her husband Edward Thorne; her sons, Hardie Edward and Kevin George; and her siblings, Jack, William and Connie.
She is survived by: her children, Geoffrey Thorne (Joanne) and Marsha Thorne; her siblings, Donald Parker (Cathy) and Joan Lyon; and her sister-in-law Jean Parker. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Madelyn's memory may be made to Bobby's Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society, Welsford Cemetery, or a charity of the donor's choice.
