She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Colin Sherwood and Catherine Sherwood (Cox); her husband John; her children, Rob Stears of Westfield, Maryann Stears (Anderson) of Rothesay and Karen Stears-Bagley of Hay River, NWT.; her grandchildren, Matthew Stears (Marlee), Emma Stears, Danielle, Robert, Brittany, Michael Anderson, Colin, Bradley Bagley and Gregory Stears; her great grandchild Briar Stears; her daughter-in-law Karen Anne Stears (Ellsworth) of Saint; her sister Janet Stewart; her friend Sharon Wilcox; her cousin Kathy McCavour; her brother-in-law Art Devlin of Ontario; her daughter Chrissie; her grandchildren, Adam and Jillian Bagley; and her siblings, Leonard, Brian, Gary Sherwood and Christina.

Due to Covid there will be no service or visitation.
