He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Peterson and Patricia Peterson (Arbeau); his daughter Megan Peterson; his brother Clifton Peterson; and his mother-in-law Mary Baglole.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Peterson (Baglole) of White Rapids; his children, Treena Welsh (David) of Moncton and Joshua Peterson of White Rapids; his grandchildren, Seth, Adeline and Ezra; his brothers, Winslow (Coleen) of Blackville, Tony (Donelda) of Blackville and Brian (Wanda) of Doaktown; and his pet Percy Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
