She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Hunter and Vyetta Hunter; her husband Freddie; her daughter-in-law Janet; and her brothers, Byron and Lister.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Dorcas, Irvine Dorcas, Connie Fullarton (Kim) and Dixie Wilson; her siblings, Charlene Hay (Murray) and Wendell Hunter (Ellen); her sister-in-law Valerie Hunter; her grandchildren, Becky Fullarton, Julie Carrier, Sonya Desroches, Amy Dorcas, James Dorcas, Aaron Wilson, Chelsea Dorcas and Grant Dorcas; and her great grandchildren, Jeremy, Torin, Liam, Pierce, Gracie, Sabrina, Matthew, Allie, Katlynn, Max, Ben, Eva and Duncan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
