He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Salem Martin and Lillian Bernice Martin (Anthony); his sisters, Elizabeth Mae Martin and Helen Marie Hopper; and his brother-in-law Clinton Shannon.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Jane Martin (Stainforth); his children, Jennifer Michelle Martin-Hawkes (Timothy Hawkes) and Timothy Philip Martin (Janet); his grandchildren, Kirstyn Jessie Hawkes, Isaac Ty Timothy Martin, Rainan Jude Timothy Hawkes and Allie Samantha Martin; his sister Vivian Alice Mellish (late Clinton Shannon); and his brothers-in-law, Andrew Hopper (late Helen) and Richard Stainforth (Bonnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson's Beach Baptist Church (2400 Rte 774, Wilsons Beach, NB E5E1K2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilsons Beach Baptist Church (2400 Rte 774, Wilsons Beach, NB E5E1K2). A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at the Wilson's Community Cemetery (329 Back Rd, Wilsons Beach, NB E5E1P4).
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to The Edith Lank Memorial Christian Camp, Wilson's Beach United Baptist Church or the charity of the giver's choice.
