She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel Blakney and Laura Blakney (Steeves); her husband Boyd; and her siblings, Edward (Melda), Ruby (Ron), James (Ruth), Lawrence, Lloyd, Doug, Perley, Paul (Donna), Peter and Kathleen.

She is survived by: her children, Heather of Wood Point, Darlene of Saint John, William (Carolyn) of Sackville and Tina Milner (Chris) of Wood Point; her grandchildren, Kara (Marcus Edel), Kali, Mya and Boyd; her stepgranddaughter Kate; her siblings, Audrey Horsman (George) and Charles Blakney (Sandra); her mothers-in-law, Barb Bembridge, Joan Ovenden (Bembridge), Judy Blakney, Joan Blakney and Muriel Blakney; Lael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
