He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas Ritchie and Betty Ritchie (Cyr); and his siblings, Paul, Ralph, Kenny, Shirley Hawks and Barb Grant.

He is survived by : his wife Diane; and his siblings, Cliff Ritchie (Debbie), Richard Ritchie and Cecile Messervey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
