We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 90, Leona Fay Matthews (Woodstock, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Weppler and Claudia Weppler; and her sister Carol Briggs (Gordon). She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Matthews; her children, Stephen Matthews (Nancy), Sharon Hiltz (Steven) and Sandra Wegner (Leon); her grandchildren, Micah (Johanna), Heidi (Dave), Matthew (Rachel), Daniel (Bobbi), Timothy (Bethany), Brendan (Laura), Evan, Keegan, Nathan, Kayla (Robin) and Jannae; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Helen, Micah, Judah, Asher, Iva, William, Lucas, Wesley, Sadie, Sophia, Eliana, Talia, Ardith, Ayden, Madeline, Violet and Wendall; and her sister Mary Vair (Don).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Brunswick Bible Institute (2335 NB-103, Victoria Corner, NB E7P1C7).
