He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barrett and Eva Barrett (McLean); his siblings, James and Uldene Hatfield; and his sons-in-law, Terry Smith and Al Shingler.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Bill (Jocelyn), Ed (Melissa), Sharon Smith and Catherine Shingler; and his stepchildren, Jamie Farrell (Tonya), Joey Farrell (Amanda) and Sarah Grant (Greg). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation in memory of Malcolm may do so to the Woodstock Baptist Church, Waterville Baptist Church cemetery fund or charity of donor's choice.
