He was predeceased by : his parents, Romeo Martin and Yvonne Martin; his wife Doreen Martin; his siblings, Daniel Martin, Bernard "Barney" Martin, Sadie Devost (Rosarie) and Gladys Davis (Bill); and his brother-in-law Jim Neal.

He is survived by : his children, Shirley Pattman (Kevin) of Saint John, Sheila Canam (Robert) of Stickney, Cheryl Drost of Woodstock and Shayne Martin of Victoria, BC; his granddaughter Megan Pattman (Mike Gormley); his great grandchildren, Kieran Gormley, Alice Gormley, Lauryn McIsaac, Gracyn McIsaac, Rosalyn Canam, Maeryn Canam, Emersen Canam, Charlie Canam and Maxwell Savoie-Godin; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Martin and Geraldine Martin.
