She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Brewer and Angelina Brewer (Brewer) of Zealand, NB.; her husband Murray Staples; her siblings, Myrna Steeves (Brewer) and Vaughan Brewer; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Steeves, Dean, Ewart Staples, Betty Brewer and Ruth Staples.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mallory Bulmer (Trevor), Emily Brewer (Ben), Seth Staples (Mandy) and Dakota Staples; her great grandchildren, Jacob (Faith), Lucy, Avary Bulmer, Brooke and Summer; her great great grandchild Hazel; her siblings, Carroll Brewer and Avis Young (Brewer); and her sister-in-law Sheila Staples.
