She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson; her brother Stan; and her parents, Samuel Brown and Lydia Brown. She is survived by: her children, Marjorie (Wilson), Walter (Eunice), Major Karen (Clarence), Thelma (Wade) and Beverley (Tony); and her siblings, Daphne (Bruce), Verlie, Marjorie (Seymour), Diane (Scott), Blanche, Myrtle, Clarence (Thelma), Abraham (Bessie) and Harvey.

In her memory donations may be made to the Janeway Hospital.
