She was predeceased by : her husband Maurice; her parents, George Lyons and Annie Mary Lyons (Devereaux); and her siblings, Marguerite, Allan, James, Michael and Daniel.

She is survived by : her children, Maurice (Shirley) and Katrina (Trevor); her grandchildren, Jonathan and Catherine (John); her sisters, Mary Hicks (Mae), Anne Hicks, Anita Zoskey (Bob) and Joan Gibbons (Pat); her nieces and nephews, Michelle Lyons, Pat Joy (Clarence) and Bill Kennedy (Dianne); her friend Margaret Martin (Moore); her cousin Bill; and her aunts, Mae and Annie.
