He was predeceased by : his parents, Abram Kean and Elizabeth Kean of Badger's Quay; his children, Rosalyn, Tony and Keith; and also, Effie Ivany-Fifield and Robert Ivany.

He is survived by : his wife Mabel; his siblings, Anne White (Ray) and Victor (Hazel); his nephews, George Kean (Anne) of Badger's Quay and Edward Kean (Marina) of St. John's; and his niece Barbara Barter (Gerald) of Burgeo. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
