He was predeceased by : his wife Annie Welcher King; his parents, Horace King and Mildred King; and his brother William King. He is survived by : his daughter Crystal Dawe (Craig) of Kilbride; his granddaughters, Rianna and Rachael Dawe of Kilbride; his brother Horace King Jr. (Bernadette) of Wesleyville; his sister-in-law Rosalie King of Clarenville; his niece Rhonda Feltham (Jeff) of Badger's Quay; and his close friends, Joan Barbour Howse of Wesleyville, Alexander (Samantha) and Donna of Paradise.

In keeping with COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines, the funeral service will be by invitation only.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Edgar's (Bon) memory may be made to The Daffodil Place, St. John's.
