She was predeceased by: her daughter Laura Schennery; her parents, Yvonne Benoit and Joachim Benoit; and her siblings, Ann Johnson, Claire Downey, Danny and Gerard Benoit.
She is survived by: her daughter Christina Young (Austin); her granddaughter Hope Lagatdu; and her siblings, Ronald Benoit Bernard (Shirley), Howard Benoit and Adel Lacosta Theresa (Ted). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Faith Pentecostal Church (16 Harbourview Rd, Burlington, NL A0K1S0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
