He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Canning and Mary Ellen Shea; his sisters, Gertie Swanson, Carmel and Eileen; his parents-in-law, Stephen and Ethel Furey; and his siblings-in-law, Conrad Furey, Harris Bath, James Paddock, Gordon Swanson, Craig McQuitty, Gerry St-Amand, Agnes, Stephen and William.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his children, Sean Shea (Jolena), Tim Shea (Elizabeth), Brad Shea, Jackie McLean (Barry) and Paula Shea; his grandchildren, Rochelle Butcher (Jeff), James Quigley, Shauna Shea, Megan Pilgrim (Luke), Shayla McLean, Haylee Snell (Brian), Brandon Shea, Davis Crispo (Anjelique), James Shea (Emma) and Johanna Shea; his great grandchildren, Ian, Claire, Jack, Gavin, Sylvie and Ethan; his siblings, Mary Paddock, Gerard Shea (Shirley), Mitzi McQuitty, Kay Ahrens (Gene), Lorraine St-Amand, Vicki Shea and Ken Shea (Karyl); his siblings-in-law, Ned Furey (Linda), Tom Furey (Dorothy), Mike Furey (Louise), Pearce Furey (Ann), Don Furey (Sheila), John Furey (Louise), Anne Bath, Joe Furey (Lisa), Mary Reeves (Jim) and Theresa Furey; and his pet Raven.
